Blog is short for "web log". Blogs are like an online journal
or diary and have become extremely popular around the world.
Your Blog is a place to write your thoughts and opinions on a regular basis for
everyone to see. You can include Internet links, photos, music, and more. If
you want, visitors can add their own comments to your blog in reply to the
posts you have made.

Writing a blog couldn't be easier! First you will need to setup your blog. If
you haven't already done this you will see a "Get Started"
button over to the right. You can click on this button to setup your blog.
The "Setup Your Blog" page will be shown - enter a title, subtitle, some tags, a
category name and options for blog comments and then click the "Complete
Setup" button (if you leave title blank, your blog title will be
set to "
").
You should then see the "Blog Post" page, which you can use to
create a new blog post. Enter the details of your post on this page and click
the "Save" button to save it. You will need to click the "Publish
Post" button before the post is shown on your website.

Sharing your blog with the world allows more people to read your thoughts and
ideas. When creating a new blog make sure that you keep the default setting in
the 'Privacy' options, allowing the public to read your blog.
Once this is done others will be able to read your blog on your home site:
(A home site is automatically created for every member of faces.com when they
join.)
You have complete control over who can view your blog. If you want to restrict
your blog to only your friends, then change the 'Privacy'
option to "Friends", "Friends of Friends" or "Custom".
If you want to increase the number of visitors that come to your blog, ask your
online buddies to link to your site! The link shown above can be used by your
buddies to go straight to your site to read your blog posts!
